One of the examples of Aurus Senate limousine produced for high-ranking Russian officials was seen on the streets of Baku.

Axar.az informs that, the photo of the car was posted on the carsinbaku_official Instagram page.

Many Russian websites have paid attention to this photo.

According to the photo, the Aurus Senate bears the Azerbaijani state license plate (90 MC 002).

According to Russian websites, it is unknown how the car got to Azerbaijan, because the Aurus Senate is not yet sold to individual customers, and orders will be accepted only next year.

The portal Avtonovostidnya.ru speculates that the car may belong to the Russian embassy in Baku.

Another possible option is to send the car to Azerbaijan for testing in hot climates and mountainous areas.

Adil Shirinov, head of Aurus LLC, said that mass production of the Aurus Senate is scheduled to begin only in November 2020. The car will be assembled at the plant of the Ford Sollers joint venture in Yelabuga, Tatarstan.

"We plan to assemble a pilot batch this year. We will weld the first body in late November and deliver the first orders in May 2021, "Adil Shirinov told Kommersant.
