MFA offers condolences over coal mine accident in Georgia

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed condolences over the accident at coal mine in Georgia.

Axar.az informs referring to press service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).

"We extend our condolences to families, as well as neighborly and friendly Government and People of Georgia over the accident in Mindeli Mine and wish speedy recovery to the injured," Azerbaijani MFA stated.

Notably, on April 5 in Tkibuli city, mine roof in Mindeli has collapsed killing six people, injuring three.

The Government of Georgia adopted a decision declaring a day of mourning for the dead miners across the country and lowering to half-mast the flags on all public buildings.
