World Bank: Pashinyan steals international aid

The World Bank says on its website: “Elite Capture of Foreign Aid. Evidence from Offshore Bank Accounts”.

Axar.az reports The study included 22 countries. It includes the names of countries that depend on concessional loans and grants.

According to the study, these countries receive 1% of their gross domestic product and then an average of 7.5% of that money goes offshore.

The list includes the names of Kyrgyzstan and Armenia from the CIS. The list includes Afghanistan, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Zambia, Mauritania, Madagascar, Mozambique, Malawi, Mali, Niger, Rwanda, São Tomé and Principe, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Uganda, Eritrea, and Ethiopia.
