NATO and US intervention in Turkey-Syria conflict is unlikely to happen.

Axar.az reports this was said by Lieutenant-General Evgeny Buchinsky, a former Russian Defense Ministry employee.

“I am very suspicious of this NATO intervention. I don't think Erdogan believes that the Americans will help them and fight Assad. However, the situation is very perverse, and direct Russian-Turkish clashes cannot be ruled out,” he said.

Last night, 33 Turkish soldiers were killed as a result of the Syrian army attack.

An extraordinary NATO meeting is held at Turkey's request.
