The online meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia with mediation and participation of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs and the personal representative of the chairperson-in-office took place on June 30, 2020.

During the one-hour video conference, the sides discussed the current state of the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Minister Elmar Mammadyarov raised the issue of illegal activities carried out by Armenia in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, including infrastructure changes.

The co-chairs noted the recent increase in aggressive rhetoric. Mammadyarov stressed that Armenia's provocative actions inflamed rhetoric.

The parties agreed to hold the next video conference of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia in the coming month with the mediation and participation of the Minsk Group co-chairs.

The co-chairs also noted that they would explore the possibility of organizing direct contacts between the ministers at the earliest opportunity.
