The online meeting of the Council of Europe will start at 11:00 Baku time.

Axar.az reports this was stated by the head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Samad Seyidov. The MP said that two important issues for Azerbaijan will be discussed at today's online meeting:

"Today's meeting of the Committee on Culture and the Committee on Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons will discuss Armenia's policy of illegal settlement in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan. At the same time, we will raise issues related to the destruction of our cultural monuments in the occupied territories. In short, we have a lot of work to do in today's online meeting."

He noted that his delegation discussed the Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan and the July events at previous online meetings of the Council of Europe.

"I think the discussions were very fruitful. We have received a positive official statement from the Council of Europe rapporteurs on the release of Tofig Yagublu."
