Former Foreign Minister of Turkiye, Head of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly delegation Mevlud Chavushoghlu will visit Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that he will participate in the international event of the West Azerbaijan Community on December 5-6.

The information was confirmed by Aziz Alakbarli, the chairman of the West Azerbaijan Community. He noted that 700 delegations from 51 countries are expected to participate in the event.

"Movlud Chavushoghlu, MPs of the Grand National Assembly of Turkiye Shamil Ayrim, Cantürk Alagöz and others will take part here. A large delegation is expected to arrive. The issue of returning to West Azerbaijan will be the subject of discussion here. The event is held annually on December 5. Because December 5 is the date when we were deported from West Azerbaijan for the last time," said Aziz Alakbarli.
