Iran and Russia to hold joint Caspian Sea rescue drills

Starting from July 21, joint maritime rescue exercises (CASAREX 2025) will be held between Iran and Russia in the Caspian Sea.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the Tasnim news agency.

The exercise, held under the slogan “Together for a Safe and Secure Caspian Sea,” will involve the Naval Forces of the Iranian Army and IRGC (SEPAH), Iran’s Police Command, the Russian Navy, and observers from Caspian Sea littoral states.

The purpose of the exercise is to promote maritime safety and to enhance cooperation between the naval forces of the Caspian Sea bordering countries.
