Today, Zangezur is the least populated region of Armenia. Once the corridor is implemented, economic agreements will be signed, businesspeople from Turkiye will arrive, and large-scale hotel and service projects will be launched.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Armenian analyst Hovhannes Avetisyan.

He said that a process similar to what happened in Batumi will be repeated:

“For example, Batumi — they will bring in Turkic-speaking people, employ them, and settle them there.”
