ADIF addresses Demirbank’s creditors

Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund (ADIF) addressed Demirbank’s creditors.

Axar.az reports that according to ADIF, Demirbank OJSC has been declared bankrupt according to the decision, dated December 27, 2017, of Baku Court of Appeal. Upon the same decision, a liquidator was appointed to the bank.

In accordance with the law on ‘Banks’, claims against bankrupt bank should be registered by liquidator within 60 days after publication of court’s decision about bankruptcy. Creditors should submit following documents:

- Name and address of a creditor

- Amounts of interests included in basic amount of the claim and other fees

- Information about pledge (mortgage) or guarantee

The creditors are requested to appeal to the ADIF, liquidator of Demirbank, within 60 days.
