Weather forecast for tomorrow in Azerbaijan has been announced.

Axar.az reports citing the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources that tomorrow the weather is expected to change sharply in Baku and Absheron peninsula. Strong north-west wind will blow at 18-23 m/sec, up to 28-33 m/sec, it will intensify up to 35-38 m/sec in some places of the peninsula in the morning and in the daytime. Temperature is expected to be anomalous.

The temperature on the peninsula will be close to 4 C at night, and close to 2 C towards the evening, in Baku 4-6 C at night, 2-4 C in the daytime.

Atmospheric pressure will drop from 762 mm mercury column to a 753 mm mercury column. Relative humidity will be 70-80 percent.

A warning has been issued about the specific hydrometeorological event expected in Baku and the Absheron peninsula. The weather is expected to change sharply on January 17, north-west wind will blow at 28-33 m / sec, and in some parts of the peninsula up to 35-38 m / sec. The air temperature is expected to drop by 10 degrees and will be 2 C. Rain is predicted to be replaced by sleet.

As for the medical and meteorological warning, on January 17-18, the strong north will blow on Absheron Peninsula and the temperature will drop by 10 degrees compared to the previous day. Such a sharp change of air is too unfavorable for most people.

On January 17, the weather is predicted to be rainy in some regions of Azerbaijan, sleet and snow are predicted to be intensive and strong in some places. Fog is expected. The western wind will be 7-12 m / sec, 23-28 m / sec, and the wind is expected to intensify up to 33-38 m / sec in the Kur valley.

The temperature will be -2 +3 C at night, 3 -7 C in the daytime, in the mountains 5-10 C at night and 0-3 C in the daytime.

The weather is expected to change sharply from January 17 till January 18 in the regions. Occasional rainfall, sleet and snow are predicted to intensify in some places. North-west wind will intensify up to 23-28 m / sec in some regions, and will intensify up to 33-38 m/sec in the Kur valley.

The air temperature will drop by 10 degrees compared to the previous day. The minimum temperature will be 5-10 degrees in mountainous regions, 12-17 degrees in high mountainous areas, and - 2 - +3 in Aran region.
