Press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Emergency Situations issued a joint statement on the incident in front of the Sheki Khan Palace.

Axar.az informs that on July 14, at about 12 o'clock in the Sheki Khan Palace, the tree of 1530, about 50 centimeters in diameter, suddenly broke down, and then fell on tourists in the courtyard of the palace. It is noted that 19 people were taken to Sheki Central District Hospital with various injuries. They were provided with emergency first aid. Because of the severe health of four people, they were placed in the intensive care unit.

An experienced reanimatologist, neurosurgeon, traumatologist and other doctors from the Ministry of Health through helicopters from Baku sent to Shaki. At the same time, officials of the Emergency Situations, Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry, Ministry of Culture and Prosecutor General's Office were sent to Shaki to determine the causes of the incident.

492 55 40 of the Prosecutor General's Office, 112 Emergency Situations Ministry and 498 78 46 Ministry of Health contact centers were established.
