Over the past period, more than 20,000 tests have been conducted in Azerbaijan to identify new cases of human coronavirus (COVID-19) infection.
Axar.az reports these words were reflected in a statement issued today by the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers.
"Cases of coronavirus infection are revealed both among people coming to Azerbaijan from abroad and there is another fact that people infect each other inside the country. In addition, cases of infection have already been registered among people living in different regions of the country.
For this reason, our citizens are required to behave in accordance with isolation measures, to leave the house only when there is a serious need, to have minimal contact with other people, not to go to crowded places and to follow a special quarantine regime. We once again call on our citizens to strictly follow the rules of personal hygiene, the requirements, and recommendations of the World Health Organization, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers," the statement said.
