The Kazakh government has adopted a decision to tighten the quarantine regime in Nur-Sultan and Almaty cities.

Axar.az reports citing foreign media.

According to the decision, beginning from March 28, the residents of both cities will be banned from leaving their homes.

The residents of Nur-Sultan and Almaty cities will be permitted to leave their homes only for going to work, as well as for buying medicinal preparations and food products.

Remind that 109 people have contracted coronavirus in Kazakhstan. Due to coronavirus threat, beginning from March 16, the state of emergency has been announced in the country, and beginning from March 19, the quarantine regime has been applied in Nur-Sultan and Almaty cities.
