On the eve of the professional holiday of prosecutors, on September 23, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan Kamran Aliyev met with the families of the killed employees of the prosecutor's office.

Axar.az reports that, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office told that the purpose of the event was to commemorate the memory of prosecutors killed in the line of duty for the territorial integrity of our country and the fight against crime.

Opening the event, the Prosecutor General expressed deep respect for the families of the martyred prosecutors, emphasizing that they died for the Motherland in the fight against crime and rose to the peak of martyrdom.

Speaking at the event, family members of the martyred prosecutors spoke about the daily attention and care shown by President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva to the families of martyrs, and the comprehensive work done to ensure the social protection of martyrs' families.

Former Prosecutor General Ismat Gayibov's son Ismayil Gayibov, former Gubadli District Prosecutor Nizami Agayev's wife Irada Agayeva, former Samukh District Prosecutor Shamshir Aliyev's wife Gultekin Aliyeva, former Gubadli District Prosecutor's Office investigator Eyyub Valiyev's wife Flora Valiyeva shared their memories of the events. They expressed satisfaction with the support and care provided by the staff of the authorities.

Summing up the event, Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev noted that further work will be done to strengthen the social protection of the families of killed employees of the prosecutor's office, to solve their problems in a timely manner, noting that the prosecutor's office will always support them.
