Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Culture Ganira Pashayeva met with a group of martyrs' families, veterans, and intellectuals from the Turkic world at the Aghdam Mugham Center in Guzanli, where the 5th International Hamza Nigari Symposium was held.
Axar.az reports the meeting was attended by representatives of the Hamza Nigari dynasty, representatives of the Jicimli village of Lachin, and scientists representing Amasya University, one of the organizers of the symposium, as well as the leadership of the Azerbaijani Turks Cultural Art and Solidarity Association in Amasya.
"Hamza Nigari was born in the village of Cicimli in Lachin. Now our lands, including the village where he was born, are free. "We sincerely thank our brotherly country and intellectuals for their moral support in the 44-day war, in general, for the last 30 years," he said.
