A meeting of the National Security Council was held under the chairmanship of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Axar.az reports that the meeting lasted 3 hours.
A written statement was issued after the meeting. The statement signaled the possibility of new operations for border security.
In addition, the statement said that Turkey's sensitivities regarding Sweden and Finland's NATO membership should be taken into account. It called on countries violating international law to support terrorism to end this attitude and take into account Turkey's security vulnerabilities.
