Diplomats of foreign countries in Azerbaijan have started their visit to Fuzuli and Shusha.

Axar.az reports that Hikmat Hajiyev, assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, said this on his Twitter account.

"We are flying to Fuzuli with a total of 160 permanent and non-resident diplomatic corps representatives, and then we will go to Shusha. Along the way, representatives of the diplomatic corps will carry out demining operations and mass restoration works, and will listen to the presentations of special representatives," said the assistant to the President of Azerbaijan.

Representatives of the diplomatic corps in Azerbaijan, including ambassadors of foreign countries and representatives of international organizations, got acquainted with the tunnel under construction on the Ahmedbeyli-Fuzuli-Shusha highway.

Ayyub Huseynov, the special representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Shusha district, and Ayyub Huseynov, representative of the State Agency of Azerbaijan Motorways, informed the foreign diplomats about the construction of the Zafar road in a short period of time, as well as the works are done on the Ahmedbeyli-Fuzuli-Shusha highway.

On August 27, in Shusha, a conference dedicated to the restoration and reconstruction of the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, demining, using the potential of urban development in the post-conflict period and opportunities for international cooperation began its work.

The event was opened by Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration. He said that the state of Azerbaijan has set itself the task of returning Karabakh to a flourishing state.

"Azerbaijani people left there about 30 years ago and were deprived of their happy life and became forced migrants."

It should be noted that more than a hundred diplomats and military attachés from more than 60 countries and 19 international organizations are participating in the conference.
