On December 7, the Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Board (CMB) Allahshukur Pashazade, who is visiting Moscow, met with Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.

Axar.az reports that the meeting took place in the Danil monastery.

During the meeting, the Patriarch of Russia Kirill greeted Allahshukur Pashazadeh, Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office, and emphasized the importance of personal meetings.

"We meet with you regularly and I think that these meetings should be continued. Such meetings create a favorable atmosphere in relations, have a positive effect on interstate relations, and at the same time, unfortunately, on the resolution of unresolved issues. This format has been going on for more than 30 years. I believe that especially during conflicts, we should increase our efforts to have a positive impact on the situation in order to achieve a real result and change the situation for the better," said the Patriarch of Russia.

At the end of the meeting, the chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Board (CMB) Allahshukur Pashazade presented a portrait engraved on the carpet to the Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia.
