Immediately after the terrorist attack against our embassy in Tehran, some structures of Iran tried to blame it on the people, saying that the terrorist attack happened on domestic grounds. This is absurd and diverts public opinion from the main point of the matter.

Axar.az reports that Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov said this in his statement to journalists.

He said that the relevant bodies of Azerbaijan have sufficient evidence and materials related to the crime:

"Therefore, we will demand from Iran that the investigation be conducted fairly. All the people involved in this case, who committed this crime, must be brought to justice and receive their deserved punishment."
