COP in Azerbaijan will increase Baku's reputation

The COP29 of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change held in Baku has been excellently organized.

Axar.az reports that, citing APА, Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said at a briefing held today.

Reminding that Russia was widely represented at COP29, Zakharova noted that this once again proves Russia’s consistent support for the unification of efforts in the fight against climate change.

The Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson also mentioned that the Russian delegation at COP29 was received at a high level by the official authorities of Baku: "We are confident that holding the COP in Azerbaijan will increase Baku's reputation on the international stage.

Especially since such results, successes, and the level of the event have been demonstrated. We aim to continue strengthening cooperation on climate issues with Azerbaijan and all other interested countries," Zakharova emphasized.
