NATO expresses condolences to Turkiye

We express our condolences to our ally, Turkiye, and to the families of all those who lost their lives in today’s tragic accident.

Axar.az reports that NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte wrote this on his X account.

“We express our deep gratitude to the members of the Turkish Armed Forces — and to all our men and women in uniform across the Alliance — for what they do every day to ensure our security,” the post said.

It should be noted that there were 20 soldiers on board the Turkish Armed Forces’ C-130 aircraft that crashed in Georgia.
