The leader of Germany’s Green Party, Franziska Brantner, sharply criticized U.S. President Donald Trump’s policy toward Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that the party leader said during her visit to Kyiv that she personally witnessed the determination of the people there not to surrender.

“But what is Trump doing? He is stabbing Ukrainians in the back. While Ukraine is burning, this Nero in Washington is making a Trump-Putin deal with Vladimir,” she emphasized.

Brantner called the U.S. plan to end the war in Ukraine a “capitulation agreement,” drawing a historical parallel with the Nazi era:

“This is betrayal, this is Munich 2.”
