Trump backs off Thanksgiving deadline on Ukraine deal

U.S. President Donald Trump has backed away from the deadline he set to reach an agreement on Ukraine by Thanksgiving.

Axar.az reports that this was written by CNN analyst Nick Walsh.

It is expected that a meeting will first be held in Moscow between Trump’s special envoy, Steve Witkoff, and Russian officials.

It is noted that the differences between Kyiv and Moscow remain very clear, and the reasons both sides refuse to compromise are deeply tied to losses, anxieties, and bloodshed.

The analyst believes that Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin is unlikely to make concessions regarding the entire eastern part of Ukraine’s Donetsk region.
