Georgia moves to recall ambassador to Israel early

Based on the decision adopted by the Georgian government on December 1, the proposal to dismiss Zaza Kandelaki from his post as Georgia’s ambassador to Israel ahead of schedule will be submitted to President Mikheil Kavelashvili.

The document states that he will be recalled from his position early under the rotation principle, effective from December 20, 2025.

Zaza Kandelaki was appointed to this post in January 2024.
