Estonia is ready to cooperate with Azerbaijan in all spheres, said the country`s Prime Minister Taavi Roivas as he met with Azerbaijani Ambassador Murad Najafbayli.

Roivas expressed his confidence that economic cooperation between the two countries would rise to the level of political ties.

The Azerbaijani Ambassador briefed the Estonian Prime Minister on socio-political and socio-economic situation in the country, as well as the achievements gained under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev. He noted that Azerbaijan attached great importance to the development of non-oil sector, saying it carried out a successful policy to boost cooperation with other countries in this field.

Najafbayli provided information about the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. He said that as a result of Armenia's aggression against Azerbaijan 20 per cent of the Azerbaijani territories were occupied and more than one million Azerbaijanis became refugees and IDPs.

They emphasized the importance of reciprocal high-level visits, saying these visits would give an impetus to the development of bilateral relations.
