"Recently, the SOM-B1 ultra-modern cruise missiles, which are manufactured using the Stealth technology (extremely unobtrusive in the radar range) and specifically designed to defeat air defence and anti-missile defence systems, have entered the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, in particular, the Air Force.

Military expert Van Hambardsumyan said this in an interview with the Armenian News website.

According to the Armenian expert, these missiles are intended not only to bypass the air defence and missile defence systems but also for their direct destruction.

Note that SOM-B1 missiles were developed by TUBITAK. These missiles can be thrown off land, sea and air.
