849 people died of coronavirus in Spain during the past 24 hours. This is a record number of deaths per day in the country.

A total of 8,189 people have died in Spain so far from the new virus. During the day, the number of people infected with the coronavirus increased by 9000 to 94417, and 19000 people recovered.

Spain ranks third in the world in the number of people infected with the virus, after the United States and Italy. According to experts, the COVID-19 epidemic is spreading in Spain faster and more widely than in Italy.
