The situation with the coronavirus in Georgia is worsening, the pace of infection is accelerating.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia.

"Unfortunately, today we have 18 new cases of infection. Yesterday this figure was 15. The situation is getting worse, the pace of infection is accelerating," Gakharia said.

It should be noted that 148 cases of infection have been registered in Georgia so far.
