Deputy interior minister says those 'neutralized' include four orange and six gray category terrorists from the wanted list.

Axar.az reports citing Turkish media that in the month of May, nationwide operations neutralized 78 terrorists in Turkey, a government official said on Thursday.

Deputy Interior Minister Ismail Catakli told a monthly press briefing that the neutralized terrorists included four terrorists in the orange category of the wanted list and six in the gray category.

In its more than 30-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK - listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the US and European Union - has been responsible for the deaths of 40,000 people, including women, children and infants. The terrorist YPG is the PKK's Syrian branch.
