Possible successors to Russian President Vladimir Putin are the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin, and the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev.
Axar.az reports this was stated by the editor-in-chief of Echo Moscow radio Alexei Venediktov. He said Putin kept both men in reserve.
"One of the main reasons for Naryshkin's candidacy is that he is completely out of criticism," Venediktov said.
