The International Committee of the Red Cross plans to send an additional 400-500 staff to the Karabakh region.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from ICRC Chairman Peter Maurer.

He said that previously the budget of the ICRC mission in the region was $ 10.96 million, and in 2021 the budget will be more than $ 49.31 million.

"That is, we will quadruple our presence. We have very few employees there. We want to send another 400-500 people to the region," he said.
