During this period, representatives of 17 parties demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan are actively working with representatives of the Russian elite to nominate a new candidate.

Axar.az informs this was reported by the Armenian newspaper Jokhovurd.

It is reported that 17 parties in Armenia discussed three candidates - Vazgen Manukyan, Arthur Vanetsyan and Grant Bagratyan:

"Our strategic partner preferred Vazgen Manukyan from these candidates. Manukyan recently travelled to Moscow to discuss his candidacy. However, this does not mean that Manukyan will be the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia in the future, he will only be the head of the interim government.

In other words, Manukyan will lead a short-term government. It is strange, but at the same time, it is clear that there are many supporters of Nikol Pashinyan among the citizens."

The newspaper writes that he tried to talk to Vazgen Manukyan about this, but he refused to answer questions.
