The first tests of the national hybrid rocket engine, which is planned to be used in an unmanned aerial vehicle to be sent to the moon on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey, have been successfully completed.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Turkish Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank.

"We think that in 2023 we can reach the first stage of our lunar mission. That is, we will send our spacecraft to the moon," he said.
