Turkish Presidential Administration spokesman Ibrahim Kalin met with US Assistant Secretary of State Wendy Sherman.

Axar.az reports that the meeting focused on bilateral relations and regional issues.

It is said that the sides agreed on the need to continue working together to maintain peace and stability in regional issues such as Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, Karabakh and Ukraine.

In addition, Turkish-US relations should be governed by an initiative based on mutual trust and active cooperation.
