Vladimir Zhirinovsky, chairman of the Russian Liberal Democratic Party, has threatened to imprison unvaccinated Russians.

Axar.az reports that the party chairman said that the Russians will face tougher measures from the autumn.

Zhirinovsky proposed to add a new article to the Russian Criminal Code:

"If a Russian diagnosed with COVID-19 comes in contact with a healthy person and any of them becomes ill, he will be prosecuted."

According to him, unvaccinated citizens should be sentenced to three to seven years in prison.
