Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky had a telephone conversation on Sunday.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Turkish Presidential Administration.

It is noted that Erdogan congratulated President Zelensky on the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's independence.

He stressed that cooperation with Ukraine will continue in all areas, including security, defense, tourism and trade.

Erdogan thanked Ukraine for its immediate and comprehensive support in the fight against forest fires in southern Turkey.
