During today's parliamentary elections, a shortage of ballots occurred in a number of polling stations in the German capital, Berlin.

Axar.az reports that many streets were closed due to the international marathon held in parallel with the voting, and the delivery of ballots was delayed.

"We are a little overwhelmed now and hope that voting will continue in 10-15 minutes," the newspaper quoted a polling station official as saying.

The party that wins the Bundestag election will have the right to form a government, and if the cabinet is formed successfully, it will be led by the leader of the party list.
