Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky presented a list of 450 Ukrainian prisoners detained in Russia and the Donbas to his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the UN General Assembly.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba.

According to him, Zelensky asked Erdogan to appeal to Putin in this regard:

"We must liberate our people from behind the walls of Russia."
