We expect that the meeting of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia in Sochi will identify promising areas for the normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan.

Axar.az reports the statement came from Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko.

"Our expectation is to ensure peace and stability in the South Caucasus. "The meeting aims to summarize the results of the ceasefire agreement signed on November 10, 2020, to see what has been done to advance the peace process and what can be done next," he said.

The diplomat said that one of the main goals of the meeting was to determine the borders.
