Armen Sargsyan's resignation has a geopolitical meaning.

Axar.az reports the statement came from MP from the Armenia faction Artur Gazinyan.

According to him, it is not clear why the resignation was announced now and on Sunday evening:

"A few days ago, Sarkisyan received funding from the UAE for a 200-megawatt solar power plant, and it was said that this was just the beginning.

According to the MP, it is impossible to dispute only one point - political changes have taken place in Armenia, and subsequent processes may lead to a complete change of government.

"We need to be vigilant and prudent. There is a question of the existence of the Armenian statehood," he said.
