Statement from Turkey on Russia-Ukraine talks

At the meeting of the Ukrainian-Russian delegations in Istanbul today, the most significant progress has been made since the beginning of negotiations between the two countries.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavushoghlu.

"Today, we are pleased to see that the rapprochement between the parties is growing at every stage. Consensus and common understanding have been reached on some issues," Cavushoghlu said.

According to Cavushoghlu, more complex issues will be determined by the foreign ministers of Ukraine and Turkey.
