Russian President Vladimir Putin does not refuse to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, but the groundwork must be laid and the text of the document is not yet available.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Spokesman for the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.

"There is no news about the meeting yet. The President has never refused such a meeting in principle. However, the relevant conditions, ie the text of the document, must be prepared for this, " he said.

Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavushoghlu said that Russian President Vladimir Putin's meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky was not far away and that everything depended on the consent and position of the Russian leader.
