Russia has refused to allow the Turkish army to carry out an operation in the Ain Isa region of northern Syria and has sent new troops to the region.
Axar.az informs this was reported by Hurriyet newspaper.
"It turned out that during the talks with Russia, preparations for the planned operation in the Ain Isa region, north of the Syrian city of Raqqa, were suspended. Russia has not allowed the operation in the Ayn Isa area, where the highway connecting Hasaka, Raqqa, and Deir Ez-Zor in the east and Aleppo in the north passes (M4).
