Scientists say that Europe is currently experiencing the worst drought in the last 500 years.

Axar.az reports that the drought, which dries up rivers and damages crops, causes serious negative effects in transportation, energy, and food production.

As western, central, and southern Europe has not seen rain for nearly two months, meteorologists say the continent's drought may have reached its worst level in 500 years.
