Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is scheduled to hold a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin this week and is expected to discuss the situation at the Zaporizhzhia NPP and the Ukraine crisis.

Axar.az reports that "RIA Novosti" reported on this with reference to a diplomatic source.

"Erdogan intends to discuss with Putin the results of his talks with Zelensky and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in Lviv, as well as to ask the Russian leader to take concrete measures to regulate the situation at the Zaporizhzhia NPP. "Turkey continues to play its role as an honest mediator in this matter because it is the only country that has won the trust of both sides in this conflict," the source said.
