Azerbaijani, Georgian state security services sign MoU

Azerbaijan’s State Security Service and Georgian State Security Service have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Baku.

The MoU was signed by chairman of Azerbaijan State Security Service Madat Guliyev and head of the Georgian State Security Service Vakhtang Gomelauri.


Addressing the signing ceremony, Guliyev said “friendly” relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia expanded thanks to mutual efforts of the two countries` presidents. “This also contributes to the development of ties between our security authorities.”


Gomelauri expressed his confidence that the visit would contribute to expanding partnership between security services of Georgia and Azerbaijan.
