US authorities will continue to closely monitor the activities of Russian ships in the Caribbean.

Axar.az reports that John Kirby, the strategic communications coordinator of the White House's National Security Council, said this.

"It is important for us to take this into account. The Russians do this every few years. They organize excursions to the Caribbean and Latin American waters. This is not new. We are following this carefully as necessary," he said.
