Canada has decided not to send military instructors to Ukraine because now is not the right time to do so.

Axar.az reports that Canadian Defense Minister Bill Blair said these words after the meeting of the defense ministers of the North Atlantic Alliance member countries.

"The issue of the NATO mission to strengthen training was discussed, in my opinion, the conditions do not allow sending Canadian instructors to Ukraine," he said.

It is noted that Canada has helped Ukraine train more than 40,000 military personnel since 2015, but expelled the instructors from the country before the full-scale Russian invasion began.
