Russia's use of the Oreshnik ballistic missile in the Dnieper is the latest escalation of the war in Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that the publication considered the use of the ballistic missile as a decisive and potentially dangerous moment in Moscow's conflict with the West.

It is reported that such a weapon has never been used to hit the enemy since the Cold War.

American scientist, nuclear specialist Hans Christensen said that this is the first time a missile like "Oreshnik" has been used in combat. He stressed that even the best air defense system is unable to prevent these missiles.

"At the same time, the world is increasingly talking about testing these types of missiles - especially in India, China, North Korea, Pakistan and even Great Britain.

"Experts note that increasing the number of warheads in the arsenal of a number of countries will sharply reduce stability in crisis situations," the publication emphasized.
